The Qira’at Competition is an important part of Averroes International School’s Qur’anic learning environment. It encourages students to develop beautiful recitation, correct pronunciation, proper Tajweed and greater confidence in presenting the words of the Holy Qur’an.
Students are given opportunities to practise, participate and improve their recitation skills in a positive and inspiring setting. The competition also helps them appreciate the beauty, rhythm and meaning of Qur’anic recitation.
Beyond competition, the initiative builds confidence, discipline and a deeper emotional connection with the Qur’an. It is designed to make Qur’anic learning engaging, memorable and meaningful for students of different age groups.
